Job Description:
-Provide both functional and technical support of multiple, proprietary, Windows based Client/Server Commodities Trading Software products to global clientele
-Liaise with internal development teams to troubleshoot software problems and identify solutions
-Prepare and package releases and release instructions
-Document client support issues via call tracking software
-Compile reports and statistics relating to client call history
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience Required: 6 months to 1.5 yrs
Skills Required:
-Candidate must have a good technical background with a minimum of 6 months to 1.5yr experience analyzing, testing, or developing client-server based and web-based products
-Ability to familiarize quickly & thoroughly with TPT's software products
-A solid understanding of client server software development and object oriented programming concepts
-Knowledge of MS Office applications, Win NT4.0 & Win XP, NT or 2000
Preferred:
-Knowledge of Delphi 3.0/4.0, Visual Basic, C++ or other object-oriented programming tool
-Knowledge of MSSQL, SYBASE and/or Oracle
-Strong initiative, organization, and excellent analysis/problem solving skills required
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and work well in a team environment
-Familiarity with international commodity/ derivatives trade, functioning & terminology will be an added advantage, though not a pre-requisite
