Job Description:
1) Be responsible for Quality control of our Products.
2) Directing a talented group of leads, providing technical and managerial leadership.
3) Helping the team define and implement best practices, automation strategies, and QA processes.
4) Be responsible for monitoring the team performance using metrics driven approaches, recommending and implementing adjustments as needed, and overall raising the technical bar for the team.
5) Must be comfortable interacting with cross organizational teams both locally as well as in remote locations. This position requires deep understanding of both black-box and white-box QA methodologies, processes, metrics and test automation.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Technical Skills
Project strategizing and planning expertise
Experience in Web Services development/Testing
Knowledge in Quality Engineering (White Box testing & API testing)
Understands (Capability to deliver) full spectrum of QE, all QE Goals, deliverables, manual & automated test methodologies (front end and back end), QE processes, tools, metrics, etc
Knowledge in Release
Ability to either directly own or supervise & guide all the QE deliverables to completion.
Proven Management Deliverables Skills
Proven personal successes in delivering high quality products & high quality teams & supporting infrastructure
multi-function groups interaction
QE Leadership & Vision
Strong Problem solving skills; Very Good communication; Self-guided; independent, can make all QE decisions
Mentor/coach/inspire/motivate.
Strong focus (and proven expertise) on sustaining, building, and expanding QE teams & QE infrastructure and providing trainings.
Strong accountability, planning, organizational, resource, project & people management skills
Capable to sustain, build, nurture, and lead the team on delivering tactical as well as strategic goals.
Experience in Performance Management
