Job Description:
Purpose of the role:
To interact with the client, understand the requirement and manage the team to design, develop and deliver the product on time with high quality to ensure client satisfaction
Responsibilities
Strategy/ Policy
Align the strategy/policy in line with the company standards and practices to implement and deliver the end product on time with high quality
Operational
Gather requirements from client
Create both high and low level design
Review own and other's design
Implement (Coding / Configuration) code review
Allocate tasks and monitor them on a regular basis
Review unit test plan
Provide status updates to the Project Manager
Interact with the Project Manager for resource allocation and estimation
Configuration Management
Develop Proof of Concepts (prototype)
People
Mentor junior engineers in the team
Train team members and new joinees on technical issues
Manage resource allocation
Interview (technical) future recruits for the team
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 4-7 yrs of experience in IT industry
- Strong in Java/J2EE
- Expert in EJBs or Hibernate (working experience)
- Good on database
- Good communication & presentation skills
